Q: Where does the bridal consultation take place?
A: The SM Hair + Makeup Studio in North East Minneapolis.

Q: Can you travel to me for the consultation?
A: Yes, we can! There is an additional fee for travel.


Q: When do we schedule the consultation?
A: We like to ideally schedule the consultation within 8 weeks of the wedding date.


Q: When do you need to know the final details (timeline, count for hair/makeup, etc.)?
A: As soon as possible! But at the latest we need to finalize details before scheduling the consultation.
 

Q: Does the makeup pricing include airbrush makeup?
A: Yes! We do not charge an additional fee for airbrush.
 

Q: What types of products do you use?
A: We use a variety of professional products and each artist/stylist has their favorites, but some of the common brands we use for Hair are Kenra, Sebastian, and Aveda. For Makeup, brands include Chanel, Urban Decay, Smashbox, Bobbi Brown, BareMinerals, MAKE UP FOR EVER Pro, and many more!
 

Q: Do you work with Hair Extensions?
A: Yes. All of our stylists are experienced with extensions. We just recommend that you have them with for the consultation.


Q: Do you travel to me and my group on my wedding day?
A: Yes! We come to you on the wedding day.
 

Q: Is travel included in the Bridal Fee?
A: Yes and No. It depends where your location is. We include the first 30 miles of travel in the bridal fee. Then, after that we charge $5 for every 10 additional miles (round-trip).


Q: How far do you travel?
A: Everywhere. We travel to wherever we are needed!

Q: Can you accommodate large groups/parties?
A: Yes! We have a large enough staff that no party is too big.


Q: How many people would you send to do Hair & Makeup?
A: Every occasion is different. We decide how many staff to assign based on the size of your party, your timeline, the services needed, etc.


Q: How long does it take for Hair & Makeup per person?
A: We give an average of 45 minutes per person for each service.


Q: Can you do Hair & Makeup for any and all races, ethnicities, etc.?
A: Yes. Absolutely!


Q: Is there a cancellation policy?
A: Yes.  For Brides, we need at least 2 months notice for a full refund (the same applies for wedding party)  If a cancellation occurs within the 2 month window of the wedding date, 50% of the service fee is due.  If a cancellation occurs on the day of the wedding- the individual is to pay 100% of what they originally committed to.
